Mt. Kinka

Mt. Kinka

Mt.Kinka is a symbol of Gifu, a landmark for the surrounding area, a place for citizens to relax, and even recently as a popular place for night view among visitors. Gifu Park lies on the west side of the mountain, along with Inaba Shrine, Gifu Gokoku Shrine, and many other sites. Gifu castle, the Mt. Kinka Squirrel Village, as well as shops and observation restaurants are also near the top of the mountain. A ropeway runs from the base to the summit and the Mt. Kinka driveway runs straight to the south side of Suidouyama.
