Shiraito Waterfall

Shiraito Waterfall

Shiraito Waterfall spouts from the cliff between two layers of ground, the upper part of the water permeation and the lower part of waterproof volcanic layer of Mt. Fuji. With a height of 20m and width of 200m, a hundreds of waterfalls, big and small, flow down from the curved cliff. The shape of the falls suit its name, "Shiraito," and looks as if thousands of silk threads were floating in the air. If you stand near the basin of the waterfall, you can see a fantastic view, with the water arching from three directions.
